LG comes up with a 3G version of their LG Wine, which was released back in January as a very basic low-to-mid end clamshell phone. Nothing much has changed though, but having it work for 3G network makes it decent enough.

Specs and features remain unknown but it looks like it will still have the basics including the 1.3-inch external display, 2.2-inch internal display, 1.3-megapixel camera, text-to-speech, GPS, Bluetooth, and obviously, a large alphanumeric keypad with quick-access keys. This is so because this device (or rather the previous LG Wine) is targeted to middle-aged and older consumers.

The LG Wine 3G phone will be launched in Korea sometime around in September under SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom, though pricing still remains unknown.
